There are more cars and drivers on the road every year. As this number increases, the possibility of accidents also increases. Car insurance can be the difference between a small setback and a major trial. How can you determine what type of insurance you require and where you should go to buy it? Car crashes can lead to many different expenses, which your car insurance can pay for based on the type of coverage you own. Without insurance, you risk having to pay the total price of the harm you cause others. Liability: Bodily injury and property damage that you have caused will be covered under liability insurance. Damages from bodily injury can include medical fees, lost wages, and pain and suffering. Property damage includes damaged property and loss of use of property. If you are in legal trouble, it also pays your legal fees. State laws usually require standard amounts, but higher amounts are available and usually recommended. Personal Injury Protection: This is mandated in some states and is optional in others. It pays you or your passengers for medical treatment resulting from a crash, regardless of who may have been at fault, and is often called no-fault coverage. State law usually sets minimum amounts. Medical Payments: This coverage can be purchased in non-no-fault states; it pays despite who carries responsibility for a crash. All reasonable medical or funeral expenses will be covered under this insurance coverage. Collision: This pays for damage to your car caused by a collision. Comprehensive: This applies if your car is stolen or damaged by something other than a collision, including fire, wind, hail, flood or vandalism. Uninsured Motorist: Thousands of drivers are breaking the law by driving a car without owning the proper amount of insurance. This type of coverage will cover you if you are in an accident with one of these irresponsible drivers. Under-Insured Motorist: This pays for collision expenses when an insured person is injured in a crash caused by a driver who does not have enough liability insurance to pay for the full amount of the damages. Other types of coverage, including emergency road service and car rental, are also available. Car Insurance Quotes Clermont
