Recommended, higher levels of liability insurance are available that take care of more events than the lower, state-mandated varieties. It is commonly referred to as no-fault coverage. It can also cover lost wages, replacement of services and funeral costs. State government typically sets minimum amounts. Medical Payments: This coverage can be purchased in non-no-fault states; it pays despite who carries responsibility for an accident. All reasonable medical or funeral expenses will be paid for under this insurance coverage. Collision: Pays for damages to your vehicle caused by an accident.
